Job Description
Company Description Bharat Recycling Pvt Ltd is an environmental services company that specialises in e-waste and lithium-ion battery recycling, along with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance.
- What we do: collect and recycle e-waste and end-of-life batteries, process batteries into black mass, and recover valuable metals through hydrometallurgical refining.
- Who we serve: producers, importers, brand owners (PIBOs), EV and battery manufacturers, and corporates that generate e-waste.
- Why it matters: we help clients meet the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 and the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, while returning critical minerals to India's supply chain.
Role Description Business Development Manager – Sales (E-Waste, Battery Recycling & EPR)
Noida (On-site, with field travel) | Full-time | 7–15 LPA + performance incentives
Key responsibilities
- New business: Find and win new clients among producers, EV and battery OEMs, electronics brands, corporates and bulk e-waste generators
- Feedstock sourcing: Secure e-waste and end-of-life Li-ion batteries from OEMs, aggregators, dismantlers and production lines.
- Black mass and recovered output: Support the sale of black mass and recovered metals, with pricing linked to chemistry and metal content.
- Deal closure: Run client meetings and presentations, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts through to signing.
- Coordination: Work with the operations and compliance teams so that pickups, processing and certificates are delivered on time.
- Market intelligence: Track regulatory changes, metal prices and competitor activity.
- Reporting: Maintain the CRM pipeline and share weekly sales reports and monthly forecasts with management.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in e-waste, battery recycling, EPR, metals and scrap trading, or environmental services.
- A proven track record of closing deals, backed by numbers such as revenue, tonnage or clients won.
- A working knowledge of the E-Waste Rules, the Battery Waste Management Rules, EPR and the CPCB portal. Candidates who are willing to learn quickly will be considered.
- Familiarity with Li-ion chemistries (NMC, LFP, LCO), black mass and hydrometallurgical recycling is a strong advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and proposal-writing skills in English and Hindi.
- Comfortable with a CRM, Excel and sales reporting.
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental science or a related field. An MBA or a sustainability qualification is a plus.
- Willing to work on-site in Delhi and travel to client sites and recycling plants.
- Self-driven and target-oriented, able to work independently.
