Business Development Manager

Job summary :

Candidate should have started their career in US IT Recruitment/Staffing and progressed into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role.

Candidates who have transitioned from Bench Sales to BDM will not be considered.

Minimum 5 years of relevant BDM/Business Development experience in the US IT Staffing market.

Proven ability to acquire and bring in own clients/job orders through direct business development efforts.

Strong understanding of the US staffing market, hiring trends, and business cycle.

Proven experience in acquiring new clients and generating new business.

Requirement :

1.Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, and outbound outreach.

2.Secure job orders and manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to signed agreement.

3.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client decision-makers (e.g., HR, hiring managers, department heads).

4.Understand client hiring needs and promote customized staffing solutions across contract and direct hire services.

5.Partner with internal recruiting team to ensure successful delivery and fulfillment of roles.

6.Negotiate fee agreements and manage client contracts.

7.B2B business development experience, preferably in the staffing, recruiting, or professional services industry.

8.Self-motivated with driven by success.

9.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

10.Proficiency in CRM software.
