JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Sales & Business Development to drive growth for Elixir Books accounting and finance service offerings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing key client relationships, and expanding market presence within the accounting, taxation, and financial services ecosystem. This is a high-impact role suited for a self-driven professional with deep industry knowledge and a proven ability to build lasting client partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in the accounting and finance industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CA firms, SMEs, startups, and corporate clients
  • Drive the end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation, pitching, and negotiation through to closure
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities
  • Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership
  • Represent the organization at industry events, seminars, and professional networking platforms

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 8–10 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in accounting, finance, or professional services
  • Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial services landscape
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships across diverse segments
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a relevant field
  • Prior experience working with CA firms or financial services organizations
  • Strong and established network within the accounting and finance industry
