We are seeking a high-energy, versatile Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth. You wi l be responsible for expanding our EPC footprint in India and scaling our Elume360 SaaS products. You are the bridge between technical innovation and market needs.
Responsibilities
1. SaaS (Elume360) -This is your Scalability pi lar. The BDM isn't just se ling a service; they are se ling data-driven efficiency.
- GTM Execution: Execute the Go-To-Market strategy for Solar360, Wind360, and Battery360. This involves identifying customers where O&M costs realy matter and remote monitoring is a necessity.
- Enterprise Solutioning: For large utilities, off-the-shelf rarely works. The BDM must consult with enterprise Asset Management and Operations teams to define requirements for customized dashboards and API integrations.
- SaaS Metrics Management: Focus on annual recurring revenue. They must manage the Sales Funnel from Lead Demo POC (Proof of Concept) Subscription.
2. EPC & Asset Development (India Market) -This is the Boots on the Ground pi lar. It requires navigating the Indian regulatory and industrial landscape.
- C&I Lead Generation: Identify high-energy-consuming industries (Chemicals, Textiles, Data Centers) in India and pitch the financial benefits of Elume's EPC solutions (OPEX/CAPEX models).
- Regulatory Liaison: Stay updated on state-wise solar policies, net-metering regulations, and Open Access charges to provide accurate ROI projections to clients.
- Bid Management: Lead the preparation of technical and financial bids for private tenders, ensuring E lume's hybrid and BESS capabilities are highlighted as a competitive edge.
3. Strategic Synergy & Brand Positioning
- Cross-Seling: When closing an EPC deal for a factory, the BDM should seamlessly upsel the Solar360 platform for long-term asset management.
- Feedback Loop: Act as the eyes and ears for the product team. They must translate client pain points from the field into new feature requests for the Elume360 developers.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate between the internal engineering team (for technical feasibility) and the client's procurement team to ensure smooth project kickoff.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 810 years of experience in Business Development within the Renewable Energy sector. Experience seling SaaS or Industrial IoT products is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian Renewable Energy market and trends in asset management.
- Communication: Exceptional negotiation ski ls and the ability to simplify complex technical jargon into a compeling value proposition.
- Education: MBA or B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical/Electronics preferred).
- Mindset: A hunter mentality with a passion for sustainability and technology.
