Business Development Manager Remote (Bhubaneswar, Odisha)
Role Purpose
The Business Development Manager will support business growth by developing partnerships, driving student recruitment, and improving operational efficiency. This role focuses on achieving revenue targets, maintaining high service quality, and contributing to continuous improvement across people, processes, technology, and data.
This is a remote role, based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and onboard new student recruitment partners, agencies, and education or training providers
- Support the achievement of student recruitment targets for each intake
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, recruitment partners, and customers
- Analyse customer feedback to assess satisfaction and improve services
- Collaborate with programme and enrolment teams to maximise student registrations
- Attend business meetings and deliver regular training to recruitment partners
- Provide insights into product development, market trends, and competitive positioning
- Analyse financial data and contribute to strategies that reduce costs and improve profitability
- Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities
- Work closely with senior leadership to define cost-effective approaches to business expansion
- Present offerings to prospective partners and negotiate commercial agreements
- Travel as required to support partnerships and business development activities
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with a flexible and adaptable mindset
- Willingness and ability to travel when required
