IIIT H Data I Hub Foundation (IHub-Data) is a Technology Innovation Hub established by IIIT Hyderabad under the Government of India's National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). The Hub drives innovation, research translation, startup incubation, skill development, and industry collaborations in Data-Driven Technologies, AI, Healthcare, and other emerging technology domains.

About UDAAN

UDAAN is IHub-Data's flagship initiative for AI-led skilling, executive education, workforce transformation, and national capacity building.

The initiative brings together academia, industry, government, and research to design and deliver high-impact learning experiences across Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Healthcare, Cyber-Physical Systems, Digital Technologies, and other emerging domains.

UDAAN aims to strengthen India's future workforce through industry-relevant programs, executive education, customized enterprise learning, government capacity-building initiatives, and innovation-driven partnerships.

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager – UDAAN (Programs & Partnerships) will establish and grow UDAAN as a nationally recognized AI skilling and executive education initiative. The role is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, expanding executive education and workforce development programs, and supporting sustainable revenue growth. Working closely with faculty, research groups, industry leaders, government agencies, and ecosystem partners, the incumbent will develop market-driven learning solutions addressing emerging technology and workforce needs.

Strategic Partnerships

• Develop partnerships with industry, government departments, PSUs, academic institutions, startups, hospitals, and international organizations.
• Build relationships with CXOs, HR/L&D leaders, Chief Digital Officers, innovation leaders, academic administrators, and public sector stakeholders.

Business Development

• Identify opportunities for executive education, certifications, workforce transformation, and customized learning programs.
• Develop proposals, presentations, EOIs, MoUs, and commercial agreements.
• Lead partnership discussions and negotiations.
• Maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline to achieve revenue and partnership targets.

Program Development

• Recommend new offerings aligned with industry demand and national priorities in AI, Data Science, Healthcare AI, Responsible AI, Cyber-Physical Systems, Robotics, Mobility, Semiconductor Technologies, Digital Manufacturing, and emerging technologies.

Government & Institutional Engagement

• Engage with Central Ministries, State Governments, PSUs, Sector Skill Councils, NSDC, academic institutions, and multilateral organizations.
• Support proposals for government-funded skilling and capacity-building initiatives.

Market Intelligence

• Track technology trends and future workforce skill requirements.
• Benchmark national and global executive education programs.
• Recommend strategic initiatives to strengthen UDAAN.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable.

Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in business development, executive education, learning & development, industry partnerships, workforce development, EdTech, consulting, or innovation ecosystems.
• Experience with academia, government agencies, is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships
