About the Role: -
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition for our fintech-focused staff augmentation and project delivery services. This is an individual contributor role with a clear path to building and leading a BD team based on performance.
You will own the complete sales cycle from identifying and qualifying prospects to negotiating contracts and closing deals. The ideal candidate combines strong B2B sales fundamentals with enough technical understanding to engage credibly with CTOs, VP Engineering, and technical decision-makers at fintech companies.
Key Responsibilities: -
Lead Generation & Pipeline Building
- Identify and build a qualified pipeline of fintech prospects (trading platforms, wealth-tech, payment companies, neobanks, lending platforms)
- Execute outbound campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and strategic networking
- Leverage existing client relationships for referrals and case studies
- Track and maintain pipeline in CRM with accurate forecasting
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements, technical environment, and decision-making process
- Qualify opportunities using BANT/MEDDIC or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with technical leads to scope engagements and prepare proposals
- Position our fintech domain expertise as a differentiator against generic IT vendors
Sales & Commercial Negotiation
- Own commercial negotiations including rate cards, contract terms, and SOW finalization
- Develop pricing strategies that protect margins while remaining competitive
- Handle objections professionally, especially around pricing, quality, and vendor trust
- Close deals with clear handoff to delivery teams
Account Growth & Relationship Management
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify expansion opportunities
- Gather client feedback and collaborate with delivery to ensure satisfaction
- Generate referrals and testimonials from successful engagements.
Requirements - Must Have
- 3-6 years of B2B sales experience in IT services, staff augmentation, or software outsourcing
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets (please be prepared to share specific numbers)
- Experience selling to international clients (US, Europe, Middle East preferred)
- Strong understanding of T&M and fixed-price engagement models, including cost-plus pricing, margin calculations, and contract structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication you'll be the face of the company to senior technical buyers
- Self-driven and process-oriented able to work independently with minimal supervision
