Business Development Manager - Pharma Services (PV & CDMO)

Job Title:Business Development – Pharma Services (Pharmacovigilance & CDMO)

Location: Vadodara, India

Experience:4–10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies for CDMO & PV services across global markets.

• Identify, generate and convert new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, industry events and strategic partnerships.

• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and achieve revenue & growth targets.

• Manage the complete BD cycle, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, pricing, negotiation and contract closure.

• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO and related organizations.

• Develop strategic partnerships with pharma companies, biotech firms, CROs, technology providers and other industry stakeholders.

• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and identify opportunities for new geographies and service lines.

• Collaborate with internal CDMO, PV, Regulatory, Quality and Operations teams to develop customized client solutions.

• Maintain sales forecasts, CRM records, pipeline dashboards and business performance reports.

Preferred Candidate:

• 4–10+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships or Corporate Development within Pharma / CRO / CDMO / Pharmacovigilance / Life Sciences.

• Strong understanding of CDMO and/or Pharmacovigilance services and pharmaceutical outsourcing.

• Proven track record of generating leads, securing clients and achieving business growth targets.

• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and relationship-management skills.

• Experience working with international clients across EU, UK, US, Canada and/or emerging markets is preferred.

• Strategic, commercially driven and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Willingness to travel as required.
