Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business expansion across India by identifying and onboarding corporate clients and channel partners (retail chains, jewellery stores, distributors)
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for South India market penetration (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh)
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in organized jewellery retail and corporate sectors
- Identify new opportunities in B2B, institutional, and bulk sales segments
- Lead negotiations, finalize agreements, and ensure smooth onboarding of partners
- Work closely with internal teams (production, design, operations) to align with client requirements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights
- Achieve assigned revenue targets and expansion goals
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy business relationships
Key Focus Areas:
- Expansion of corporate tie-ups and large retail chains
- Development of channel partner network across Tier 1, 2 & 3 cities
- Strong emphasis on South India business growth
- Strengthening brand presence in organized jewellery sector
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in business development / sales (preferably in jewellery, diamonds, luxury retail, or related industry)
- Proven track record in corporate sales or channel development
- Strong network within jewellery retailers, distributors, or corporate buyers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively across India
- Strategic thinker with execution capability
