Role: Manager Business Development & Project Execution (North & West Region)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (covering Gujarat, Rajasthan,Maharashtraand other NorthWestern states)

We deliver thirdparty inspection (TPI), field quality assurance (FQA), mechanical integrity, processsafetyand HSE services to downstream industries. To strengthen our presence in the NorthWestern region of India, we are seeking an experiencedBusiness Development & Project Execution Managerwho will own the full cycle of business developmentandproject delivery across Gujarat, Rajasthan,Maharashtraandneighboringstates. The role requires strategic market development inoil & gas refineries, city gas distribution networks, renewableenergyand green hydrogenprojects, while also building and mentoring a regional team and ensuring that awarded projects are executed safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional sales & market development develop and execute regional sales plans to drive growth in oil & gas, city gas, renewable and hydrogen markets. Build strategic relationships with clients, EPCcontractorsand industry stakeholders, leading to a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Project execution management once projects are secured, lead the planning and execution phases to ensure delivery within scope, on schedule and on budget. Manage crossfunctional teams,allocateresources, and oversee project controls (schedule, cost, quality) in compliance with safety standards.
  • Team development & leadership recruit, coach and supervise a regional team of sales and project professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration,accountabilityand continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder & risk managementmaintainclose communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Tender & contract management collaborate with tender teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals; lead contract negotiations and ensure that contractual obligations are clearly defined and met.
  • Compliance & HSE oversight ensure that all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, industrystandardsand company HSE policies. Champion safety culture and environmental stewardship.
  • Performance reporting track and report project and sales performance against targets; providetimelyupdates to senior management and clients.
  • Market representation & networking represent the company at industry forums,conferencesand trade shows to enhance brand visibility andestablishpartnerships.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • EducationBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering; postgraduatequalification in business or project management is an asset.
  • Experience 8+ years of combined business development and project management experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, city gas distribution, renewable or hydrogen sectors. Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget while growing regional markets.
  • Technical knowledge understanding of TPI, FQA, mechanical integrity, processsafetyand HSE services; familiarity with refinery operations, city gas distributionsystemsand renewable/hydrogen project cycles.
  • Skills strong capability in sales planning, project scheduling, cost control, riskmanagementand negotiation.Proficiencywith project management tools and CRM systems; excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Mobility willingness to travel extensively across the NorthWest region and to project sites.
