Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and resultdriven Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Networking & IT sector to drive sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and build longterm relationships with enterprise, corporate, and government clients.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking and telecombased IT solutions, including leased lines, MPLS, SDWAN, VPN, P2P connectivity, and managed network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the networking, telecom, and IT sectors, including infrastructure, connectivity, and managed services.
- Promote and sell solutions such as leased lines, MPLS, SDWAN, VPN, P2P links, public WiFi, and managed network services to enterprise and government clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, SMEs, IT departments, and channel partners.
- Conduct client meetings, needsassessment discussions, and product/solution presentations to IT decisionmakers and infrastructure teams.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and commercial offers aligned to client requirements and IT budgets.
- Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to design tailored ITaligned solutions and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs as defined by management.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, update CRM records, and generate regular business reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs in the IT and networking space to refine the sales strategy.
- Represent the company in tenders, RFQs, and RFP processes for largescale networking and IT infrastructure projects.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage IT heads, CIOs, and infrastructure managers.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and emails professionally.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, telecom products, and IT infrastructure requirements.
- Proven experience in handling enterprise IT accounts and largevalue connectivity deals.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a structured approach to opportunity management.
- Targetdriven and selfmotivated, with consistent followup and closure focus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or Engineering.
- MBA in Sales / Marketing will be an added advantage.
