Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) for a client-facing sales role focused on selling hardware, data security, and data backup solutions to corporate customers in Mumbai. The candidate should have proven experience in security or backup solution sales and a strong understanding of IT security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell hardware, data security, and data backup solutions to corporate customers across Mumbai.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for customer meetings and sales.
  • Identify and close deals in the SMB and Enterprise segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners.
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand the existing client base.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.

Technical Knowledge Requirements

Candidates must have a strong understanding of IT Security Solutions, including:

  • Endpoint Security
  • Networking Security
  • Data Security
  • DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
  • Backup Solutions
  • NGF (Next Generation Firewall)
  • MDM (Mobile Device Management)
  • Helpdesk Solutions
  • Asset Management Solutions

OR

Knowledge of Backup Solutions, including:

  • Server Backup
  • Desktop/Laptop Backup
  • Data Replication

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling data security or data backup solutions to corporate customers in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills.
  • Proven track record in corporate IT solution sales.

Education & Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in selling data security or data backup solutions.
  • Experience dealing with corporate customers in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within defined parameters and instructions.
