Position: Business Development Manager

Salary Offered: Up to Rs. 60 K per month basis the experience and profile of the candidate.
Position Overview
The School of Holistic Development (SHD) at MIT ADT University is dedicated to fostering a Wholesome Personality by integrating arts into the curriculum, recognizing the crucial role of creative expression in cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
We are seeking for a Business Development Manager who will primarily focus on managing the Cambridge English Exams programs and related promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cambridge Centre Management and Promotion (Approx. 75% Time)
This role is equivalent to that of a Marketing Manager - Cambridge.
- Promotion of Cambridge Exams: Actively promote various Cambridge English Exams, including YLE, TKT, and Lingus kill.
- Institutional Visits: Conduct promotional visits to various educational institutions within the city.
- Partnership Planning: Plan collaborations for establishing Cambridge English language exams preparation centers by interacting with key stakeholders from schools and colleges.
- Event Management: Organize and hold Cambridge promotional events.
- Stall Management: Handle the management of promotional stalls at Cambridge events.
2. SHD Offline Event Arrangements (Approx. 6.25% Time)
- Event Coordination: Oversee the arrangements for SHD offline events (approx. 100 hours per year).
- Logistics: Manage event logistics, including checklist preparation, venue booking, and refreshment arrangements.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with the team and conduct follow-ups on assigned work.
3. Additional Responsibilities (Approx. 12.5% Time)
- Result Handling: Manage the preparation and delivery of results for MIT ADT schools.
- Business Development Support: Engage in cold calling and follow-up activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree.
- This combination of academic rigor and business acumen is preferred to successfully manage the strategic business development and marketing of international programs like the Cambridge English Exams.
Experience
- The candidate must have a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in business development, marketing, or sales, preferably within the education sector.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable experience in:
- Educational Partnerships: Securing and managing collaborations with schools and colleges.
- English Language/Exam Promotion: Marketing or promoting international English language assessments or certification programs (e.g., Cambridge English Exams, YLE, TKT, Lingus kill).
- Event Management: Planning, executing, and coordinating large-scale promotional and educational events, including managing logistics like venue booking, refreshments, and team coordination.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Directly interacting with stakeholders from educational institutions.
- Business Growth Activities: Proven track record in cold calling and professional follow-up activities to drive institutional enrollment or adoption.
