Job Summary

Business Development Manager- (Mining & Construction ) will be responsible for leading initiatives to generate business and engage with potential customers to drive key business growth and revenue in the mining and construction industry for Tecknotrove . Managing sales for the range of Tecknotrove Mining and Construction simulators in India and International Markets . This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation | Presales: Prospecting potential accounts in the mining industry & networking with prospective clients to build a strong leads funnel.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand customer base and improve marketing penetration
  • Competitor analysis: Conducting Market research and competitor analysis to stay up to date on market trends and business development strategies. Research, plan & implement new target market initiatives.
  • Sales Performance Management: Achieve sales targets and present quarterly & annual revenue & expense reports along with realistic sales forecasts to the management team.
  • Build Customer Relationship: Nurture long-lasting relationships with customers by partnering with them to understand & serve their needs.
  • Plan Product enhancement and upgrades: Collaborate with Cross functional teams to suggest product improvements or new product development based on current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategy.

Required Experience : 6-8 years of experience within the mining and construction industry with at least last 4 years in business development role in the mining sector

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA is a must

Skills and competencies

Must-Have:

  • Direct Selling experience in Enterprises Sales (solutions, projects, equipment, or services) in the Mining/Government sector.
  • Should have the experience of sales in India markets (>50 L per order) for mining and construction.
  • Must have interest & knowledge in consultative / concept selling.
  • Strong negotiation & consultative sales skills.
  • Must have a passion for technology sales.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Assertive with high energy levels.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative independently
