About MetCirque 360

MetCirque 360 is building a next-generation circular economy platform, focused on organizing and scaling the fragmented scrap and recycling ecosystem in India.

We operate across ferrous & non-ferrous metals, plastics, paper, and tyre scrap, enabling efficient sourcing, aggregation, and supply to end users through a structured, transparent, and technology-enabled approach.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven, deal-oriented Business Development Manager to lead on-ground market expansion and trading activities across key scrap categories.

This is a frontline revenue role requiring strong market connections, negotiation skills, and the ability to source, structure, and close high-volume scrap transactions.

Key Responsibilities1. Supplier & Network Development
  • Identify, onboard, and manage scrap suppliers:
  • Industrial manufacturers
  • Scrap aggregators & yard owners
  • Recycling units
  • Build a strong sourcing pipeline across metals, plastics, paper, and tyre scrap
  • Develop regional clusters in high-volume scrap markets
2. Buyer Acquisition & Market Expansion
  • Build and manage relationships with:
  • Metal processors and foundries
  • Plastic recyclers and manufacturers
  • Paper mills and tyre recyclers
  • Expand MetCirque 360's buyer network and market footprint
3. Deal Execution & Revenue Generation
  • Own end-to-end deal lifecycle:
  • Lead generation
  • Price discovery
  • Negotiation
  • Deal closure
  • Dispatch and payment follow-up
  • Drive monthly trading volumes and revenue targets
  • Ensure profitable deal structuring and margin realization
4. Category Expertise

Work across one or multiple categories:

  • Ferrous scrap: HMS, MS scrap, shredded scrap
  • Non-ferrous metals: Copper, aluminium, brass, etc.
  • Plastics: PPCP, PPHP, ABS, LDPE, HDPE, HIPS, ABS FR
  • Paper & tyre scrap
5. Pricing & Market Intelligence
  • Track daily commodity price movements and local market dynamics
  • Identify arbitrage opportunities across regions
  • Provide actionable insights on demand-supply gaps and pricing trends
6. Execution & Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal teams for:
  • Logistics and dispatch
  • Documentation (GST, e-way bills, invoicing)
  • Payment collections
  • Ensure smooth execution with minimal disputes (quality, weight, delivery)
Key Requirements
  • Experience: 5–10 years in scrap trading / recycling / commodity trading
  • Strong on-ground network in at least one scrap category
  • Proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue
  • Deep understanding of material grades, pricing, and market practices
  • High ownership mindset with ability to work independently
