Job Description
Business Development Manager – Music & Entertainment
- Drive new business generation by identifying untapped opportunities across films, OTT, television, music labels, events, brands, and the entertainment industry.
- Sell and monetize the company's existing music catalogue of 500+ songs by pitching suitable tracks to music labels, films, OTT platforms, TV channels, and regional markets.
- Reach out to new and emerging producers, directors, production houses, filmmakers, casting agencies, and industry professionals to generate new business.
- Generate opportunities for music direction, original songs, jingles, background scores, music production, and artist collaborations.
- Pitch and secure opportunities for Meet Bros across films, OTT, reality shows, television, music labels, and other entertainment platforms.
- Identify and approach brands for collaborations, sponsorships, endorsements, in-film integrations, event partnerships, and other commercial opportunities.
- Develop business opportunities for film and content production projects through industry contacts, referrals, and active market outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with music labels, producers, directors, OTT platforms, TV channels, brands, agencies, production houses, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Explore opportunities with regional film and music industries, including South India and other emerging markets.
- Take ownership of lead generation, outreach, pitching, follow-ups, negotiations, and conversion of opportunities into confirmed business.
- Work closely with the internal music, artist, and production teams to identify suitable offerings and ensure smooth execution of confirmed projects.
- Maintain a regular business pipeline and market database and track opportunities from initial outreach to closure.
Must Have:
- 3+ Years of Experience in Music Label and Music Industry Exposure.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Needs to be proactive
- Experience in sales & awareness about the Media & entertainment industry.
