Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the media and advertising sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the media landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth within the media and advertising sector.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure contracts and agreements that benefit the company.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress towards targets, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the media and advertising industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of media and advertising trends, technologies, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
