Company Description Harsh Mann Luxury Consultancy (HMLC) is a specialized agency focused on the business of luxury, offering 360-degree brand management services from strategy and identity to internal and external communication. The consultancy partners with brands across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, perfume, automotive, premium FMCG/food, real estate, home décor, media, and events. HMLC delivers end-to-end solutions from brand launch to long-term sustainability under one roof. Core services span luxury brand building, luxury marketing, HNI/UHNI selling strategies, retail consulting, and international brand expansion. The firm also provides sustainable brand consulting, luxury training, and image consulting, supporting clients in building strong, future-ready luxury brands.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Gurugram. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the luxury sector, build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, and drive revenue growth across HMLC's services. Daily responsibilities include researching and targeting potential luxury brands, preparing and delivering tailored pitches, proposals, and presentations, and collaborating closely with strategy, marketing, and creative teams to design client-centric solutions. The role involves managing the full business development cycle from lead generation to contract closure, tracking sales pipelines, and reporting performance metrics. The Manager will also represent HMLC at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to enhance the firm's market presence in the luxury domain.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within luxury, premium lifestyle, fashion, beauty, hospitality, or related industries.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust with senior decision-makers and HNI/UHNI clients.
  • Solid understanding of brand strategy, luxury marketing, and go-to-market approaches, with the ability to translate client needs into tailored consulting solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confident proposal writing and pitch delivery in English.
  • Analytical and research capabilities to assess markets, identify opportunities, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Luxury Management, Communications, or a related field; a master's degree or specialized luxury management education is an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM tools, sales pipelines, and reporting, and familiarity with digital and social media trends in the luxury segment.
  • Professional demeanor, high level of integrity, and an understanding of luxury customer expectations and service standards.
