Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Business Development Manager – Loyalty and Rewards. The person in this role will identify, prospect, and onboard new enterprise clients for ShakePe's loyalty and rewards solutions, with a focus on high-value sectors such as FMCG, Pharma, Industrials, Auto, and BFSI. They will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and solution pitching to negotiation and closure, in close collaboration with product and marketing teams. The role involves understanding client requirements, mapping them to ShakePe's platform capabilities, and designing tailored loyalty and rewards programs that drive engagement and business results. The Business Development Manager will build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, monitor account performance, and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. They will also track market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
  • Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, consultative selling, and deal negotiation.
  • Experience in designing or selling loyalty, rewards, incentives, or channel engagement programs for enterprise or mid-market clients.
  • Ability to understand digital platforms and SaaS products, translate client needs into solutions, and work closely with product and technology teams.
  • Proven relationship management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, nurture long-term partnerships, and drive account growth.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze program performance, interpret metrics, and present insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Relevant experience in sectors such as FMCG, Pharma, Industrials, Auto, BFSI, or in B2B fintech / rewards / payments is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
