Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and strategic BD- Lead Generation who will work closely with stakeholders to identify, pitch, and onboard brands onto e-commerce and quick commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong market research, outreach, and relationship-building capabilities along with the ability to create data-backed strategies for client acquisition and business growth. This role requires someone who understands where and how to identify potential brands through various channels such as events, trade fairs, LinkedIn, Meta, Google, communities, and industry networks.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Brand Outreach:
- Identify and connect with potential brands for onboarding onto e-commerce and quick commerce platforms through channels such as LinkedIn, Meta, Google, trade fairs, events, websites, and industry communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brand stakeholders, founders, and decision-makers to drive client acquisition and long-term business opportunities.
Strategy Development & Market Research
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and brand audits to identify business opportunities and create data-backed outreach and acquisition strategies.
- Develop customized pitch strategies and positioning frameworks based on brand requirements, market trends, and platform growth opportunities.
Sales Enablement & Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare pitch decks, proposals, onboarding documents, and client-facing presentations aligned with business objectives and client needs.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding, communication, and execution of client acquisition initiatives.
Qualifications (Please Apply Only If You Meet These Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree / MBA / Post Graduate in Marketing, Business, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in:
- Brand Partnerships, Client Acquisition, or Marketplace/E-commerce roles.
- Understanding of e-commerce and quick commerce ecosystems.
- Experience attending trade fairs, networking events, or industry expos for business acquisition.
- Understanding of marketplace onboarding, cataloging, and growth strategies.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and lead generation platforms.
- Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Experience using Google Slides / PowerPoint / Canva for pitch decks and client presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to independently identify, approach, and convert potential business opportunities.
- Expertise in G Suite / Google Sheets with 55+ WPM (Typing Speed).
Bonus Skills (A Plus For Your Application)
- Experience working with D2C, FMCG, or consumer brands in the e-commerce or quick commerce ecosystem.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or agency environments with high ownership and execution focus.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, or retail media advertising is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with project management and communication tools such as Asana and Slack for task coordination and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in presentation and collateral creation tools such as Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Figma for preparing pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing materials.
