About The Role
We are looking for a highly driven and commercially strong Business Development Manager – Laser Machinery to lead business growth for industrial laser machinery solutions across India. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in B2B technical sales who thrive in fast-paced industrial environments and have experience handling capital equipment or automation-based product sales.
The ideal candidate should possess strong techno-commercial understanding, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to drive revenue through direct and channel sales networks across manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with business goals
- Drive revenue growth across industrial laser marking, welding, cutting, and cleaning machinery segments
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new clients across manufacturing, automotive, engineering, fabrication, and jewelry sectors
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, industrial clients, distributors, and channel partners
- Expand market presence across new territories and industry verticals
Channel & Dealer Network Management
- Build and manage a high-performing dealer and channel sales network
- Support channel partners with product training, lead generation, and sales conversion
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting
- Ensure CRM discipline, sales reporting, and data-driven tracking of opportunities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and target achievement
- Conduct regular sales reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer requirements
- Share market insights to improve product positioning and business strategy
Required Skills
- Strong B2B industrial sales experience
- Techno-commercial understanding of industrial machinery or automation products
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in channel sales and dealer management
- Willingness to travel across India for client meetings and industry expos
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- MBA preferred
- 2–7 years of experience in industrial machinery, laser systems, automation, or capital equipment sales
- Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is an added advantage
