QS I-GAUGE is an independent rating system for colleges, universities, and schools in India, launched as a joint venture between UK-based QS Quacquarelli Symonds and India's ERA Foundation. Headquartered in Bengaluru, it combines global expertise with local insights to deliver data-driven, transparent assessments benchmarked against international standards.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Business Development Manager with prior experience in the K-12 sector to expand our footprint across Indian schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the K-12 education space and a passion for enabling institutions through B2B partnerships that enhance their brand and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead B2B sales efforts targeting schools across India.
- Identify, connect with, and build lasting relationships with school promoters, principals, and trustees.
- Promote the QS I-GAUGE School Rating System and explain its value proposition to institutional leaders.
- Design and implement sales plans to meet school segment goals.
- Prepare and deliver engaging sales proposals and presentations.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions using CRM systems.
- Attend school education events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Act as a key point of contact for schools throughout the sales and onboarding process.
Accountabilities:
- Achieve defined revenue targets within the K-12 segment.
- Grow QS I-GAUGE's school rating market share and visibility.
- Strengthen institutional relationships for long-term engagement.
- Provide market feedback to enhance our school rating offerings.
Requirements:
- B2B business development experience specifically in the K-12 education sector.
- Demonstrated success in working with CBSE, ICSE, International, or Residential schools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships and influence senior educational leaders.
- High degree of self-motivation, organization, and ownership.
- Willingness to travel frequently across regions.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales performance tools.
- Degree in Business, Education, or a relevant discipline.
