Business Development Manager Japan

Looking for a Japanese and English speaker who has some apparel/textile experience ideally.

Candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. Should be focused and have strong communication skills and think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify partnership opportunities in apparel and textiles industry in Japan
• Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
• Maintain existing business by monitoring India team to execute needs of Japanese customers
• Think critically when planning to assure project success

Qualifications

• Fluent Japanese language proficiency and familiarity with customs
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10-15 years business development experience and particularly 3-4 years in textile industry
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
