Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15–20 Academic Counsellors along with 2 Assistant Team Leads (ATLs) to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets through effective team management and performance monitoring.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize lead conversion, enrollments, and revenue growth.
  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance review sessions to enhance team productivity and skill development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, call quality, revenue generation, and team efficiency.
  • Ensure effective utilization of Salesforce and/or LeadSquared (LSQ) for lead management, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare business reports, and provide actionable insights to improve overall performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer engagement, counseling quality, and service excellence.
  • Identify hiring needs, recruit, onboard, and develop top-performing sales professionals.
  • Handle escalations, resolve customer concerns, and ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through motivation, recognition, and continuous feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance team productivity and business efficiency.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 6–9 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Inside Sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.
  • Experience managing a team of 15–20 counsellors with Team Leads/ATLs reporting directly.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or LeadSquared (LSQ).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
