Market & Customer Development
- Develop a strong understanding of target industrial coating segments (e.g., infrastructure, energy, electrical, general industrial, mobility-related applications, etc.), including market size, growth drivers, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Engage closely with key customers, OEMs, and ecosystem partners to understand application requirements, specifications, and decision-making processes.
- Drive Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to inform product positioning, value propositions, and innovation priorities.
Business Development & Growth Execution
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including new accounts, new applications, and adjacent segments within industrial coatings.
- Support the development and execution of segment-level growth plans, aligned with overall India strategy.
- Partner with sales and technical teams to progress opportunities from prospecting to commercialization, including trials, approvals, and scale‑up.
- Track and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, ensuring disciplined follow-through and delivery against growth targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D and technical service teams to translate customer needs into viable coating solutions and support product launches.
- Coordinate with SCM and operations to ensure feasibility, supply readiness, and cost competitiveness for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to support segment-focused value propositions, technical content, and customer engagement initiatives (trade shows, seminars, digital content, etc.).
Strategy Support & Analytics
- Support the Director – Strategy and BD with market research, competitive intelligence, and business case development for priority initiatives.
- Contribute to evaluation of strategic partnerships, collaborations, or inorganic opportunities, as relevant.
