Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily strategic bidding and sourcing on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, PPH, and related portals to secure high-value projects.
  • Lead the complete sales lifecycle from initial prospecting, lead generation, and custom proposal writing, to high-level negotiation and deal closure.
  • Architect and execute a comprehensive business development strategy designed to hit company revenue growth targets and customer acquisition metrics.
  • Analyze incoming client requirements, technical briefs, and project scopes, matching them with the appropriate technology or service solutions.
  • Focus heavily on relationship building, converting short-term platform projects into sustainable, long-term corporate sales partnerships.
  • Stay actively updated on industry trends, shifting market dynamics, emerging technology patterns, and competitor activities to maintain an edge.
  • Monitor and analyze key business development performance indexes (such as conversion rates, lead pipelines, and platform ROI). Generate regular performance reports for leadership with actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding and a proven track record of winning business on Upwork, Freelancer, PPH, and other major freelancing platforms.
  • Solid understanding of modern business sales strategies, with demonstrated past success driving organic business growth and hitting strict revenue targets.
  • Ability to accurately review client project briefs and provide or recommend matching technology solutions.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal skills, active listening abilities, and a persuasive negotiation style.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to gather, interpret, and leverage performance metrics to make smart pipeline optimization decisions.
  • Highly proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other standard digital CRM/business productivity tools.
