Locations: Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hubli, Delhi/ NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur
Role Overview
We are looking for driven Business Development Managers to own student admissions for our UG Degree programs in their assigned region. The role is ideal for someone who has spent the last few years in UG admissions (B. Com/ BBA), knows the schools and counsellors in their territory by name, and has a working channel partner network they can activate from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & revenue
• Own and deliver monthly and annual admission targets for UG Degree programs in the assigned territory.
• Manage the full lead generation funnel
School outreach
• Build and maintain relationships with principals, career counsellors and coordinators of CBSE, ICSE, IB and State Board schools (Classes 11–12).
• Plan and conduct school seminars, career guidance sessions, workshops and on-campus activations.
• Build a structured school pipeline and track conversions by school.
Channel partner network
• Onboard, activate and manage channel partners — education consultants, admission counsellors, coaching institutes and tuition centres.
• Drive partner productivity through regular engagement, training on programs and timely payout coordination.
• Expand the partner network into tier-2 and tier-3 catchment areas around the territory.
Events & market intelligence
• Represent Imarticus at education fairs, admission expos and university events.
• Track competitor programs, fee structures and admission trends in the region and share insights with leadership.
Coordination & reporting
• Work closely with partner university teams, marketing and the inside-sales team on lead flow and campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and share weekly pipeline and admission reports.
Candidate profile
Must-haves
• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in UG admissions for a college, university or education company.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admission targets.
• Strong existing network of schools (principals, counsellors) in the assigned region.
• Established channel partner / education consultant network that can be activated quickly.
• Excellent communication and counselling skills in English and the regional language.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
