Role: Marketing Executive / Business Development Manager Reporting to Senior Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Executive / Business Development / Client Engagement Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, with proven experience in developing and executing successful business development strategies. This role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Marketing.
- 4+ years of experience in a business development role within the consulting industry, specifically.
- working with non-IT sector companies, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology
- sectors.
- Has the ability to drive outbound sales initiatives throughout-of-box ideas and thinking.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales in B2B industry.
- Has ability to pitch services (or projects), such as competitive intelligence (CI) projects, custom / consulting projects to new clients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Sales Funnel Management.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and meetings
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and offering customized solutions.
- Negotiate with clients regarding contract terms, pricing, and service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
Sales Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company's services and value proposition.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies.
