About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Manager who can drive both inbound and outbound business for Hire22.ai. This is a hybrid sales role: you'll respond to and convert inbound leads while also actively identifying and reaching out to new prospects to build our client pipeline. You'll be talking directly to HR managers, founders, and hiring decision-makers, understanding their hiring pain points, and positioning Hire22 as their recruitment partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound leads promptly, qualify them, and convert them into paying clients
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels)
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective employers across industries
• Understand client hiring needs and pitch the right Hire22 plan or solution
• Conduct product demos and walkthroughs for prospective clients
• Follow up consistently with leads through the sales cycle, from first contact to closure
• Negotiate terms and close deals within approved pricing and policy guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and deal status in the CRM
• Coordinate with the marketing team on lead quality and campaign feedback
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Build long-term relationships with clients to support renewals and referrals

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition (B2B experience preferred)
• Prior experience in HR tech, SaaS, staffing, or recruitment sales is a strong plus
• Comfortable doing both inbound conversion and outbound prospecting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confident on calls and in client-facing conversations
• Target-driven with a track record of meeting sales numbers
• Basic familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage a pipeline without heavy supervision
• Graduate in any discipline; a background in business, marketing, or HR is an advantage
