Role Description
The BD Head (PM Surya Ghar) will lead business development activities for
residential rooftop solar projects under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. The
role involves strategy development, partnership management, lead generation, and
driving revenue growth through the government's solar initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets for PM
Surya Ghar projects.
Identify and onboard new channel partners, distributors, and installation
partners across regions.
Drive customer acquisition campaigns and ensure effective lead conversion.
Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Projects, and Finance) for smooth
execution and timely delivery.
Maintain relationships with government agencies, DISCOMs, and nodal
bodies for scheme-related approvals.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and government policy updates
to identify business opportunities.
Manage and mentor the BD team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Ensure compliance with subsidy processes, documentation, and reporting as
per PM Surya Ghar norms
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
