Job Description

Job Summary:

The Role would be responsible for managing the entire gamut of sales operations of the assigned Govt. accounts in South region thereby achieving the sales target of Network Services. Reports to Govt. Cluster head.

Salary range: 10 - 15 LPA.

Age Range: Below 40

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Generation from New Accounts & Increasing wallet share from existing customers.
  2. Participate in Business Plan and execute the strategy to expand customer base in the assigned Geo / Vertical.
  3. Will be responsible for managing Govt. accounts in states of South.
  4. Constantly Qualify and build new opportunities / prospects.
  5. Accurately forecast and execute Booking, Billing and Collection figures - Positioning of products and solutions
  6. Effective Account Management and Customer Relationship - Establishing a cordial relationship with the clients so as to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat purchases upgrades and cross sales of products and solutions
  7. Demonstrated excellence in giving presentation and arranging demonstration of the products in different government sectors, influencing the specification of the product and making the company strong even if tender comes out
  8. Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  9. Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition in government segment.
  10. Work on proactive opportunities of Network Services, Voice solutions and S.I solutions.
  11. Searching & reading the tender opportunities, preparing the snapshot, participation / submission, tracking the tender till its closure.
  12. Customer retention.

Essentials:

MBA and/ or engineer with specialization in Marketing from an Institute of repute.

5 - 10 years of experience of selling Infra solutions, servers, connectivity and related Network Service solutions in government vertical.

Competencies:

  1. Strong track record of selling high ticket value-based Telecom Products / solutions.
  2. Understands buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector.
  3. Manages relationship with OEMs & SIS to ensure horizontal penetration into accounts.
  4. Proven track record of consistent high performance and new business acquisition.
  5. Ability to forecast future sales requirements and devise proactive sales strategies for the same.
  6. Strong account management and business acumen.
  7. Strategic planning, market plan execution with skills in competitor and market analysis. - Developing relationships at CXO level or Decision makers of customer organization.
