We offer Port agency software suite designed to digitize and streamline port agency operations, liner agency workflows, vessel call management, and port disbursement accounting (DA). The platform enables shipping and port agencies to automate operational and financial processes, improve transparency, enhance efficiency, and gain real-time visibility across end-to-end maritime operations.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager / Specialist will be responsible for driving new business growth for enterprise maritime software solutions across global markets. The role involves identifying prospects, managing the sales lifecycle, building strong client relationships, and positioning the solution as a comprehensive digital platform for shipping and port agency operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within shipping agencies, port agents, and maritime service providers.
  • Execute consultative sales cycles, including product presentations, solution demonstrations, proposal development, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including operational heads, finance teams, and senior leadership.
  • Understand customer pain points related to port operations, vessel handling, and disbursement accounting, and align solution value accordingly.
  • Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM updates.
  • Collaborate with internal product, implementation, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and successful deal execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of global enterprise software sales experience, with a minimum of 7+ years in the maritime and shipping domain.
  • Proven experience selling maritime software solutions covering Port DA (Disbursement Accounting), Port & Liner Agency Operations, Vessel Call Management, or shipping agency platforms.
  • Strong understanding of maritime operational workflows and commercial processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value enterprise deals.
