Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding, located in Bangalore/Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and managing sales activities. Day-to-day tasks include market analysis, lead generation, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, payment collection and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in International Freight Forwarding (Ocean & Air), and other aspects of end-to-end logistics
• Should have an existing clientele basis the previous work experience
• Proven track record in Business Development, Sales, and Client Relationship Management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other related tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant experience in logistics or a related field is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
