Our client is a leading engineering and project delivery company supporting high-tech industrial sectors across semiconductor, wafer fabrication, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. Due to business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive strategic growth and strengthen client partnerships across the region.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development and market expansion initiatives across semiconductor, wafer fab, Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to drive growth across the Facility & Asset Services (FAS) business in Southeast Asia.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within sectors such as data centres, semiconductors, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, and mission-critical facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and industry stakeholders to generate long-term business opportunities.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including opportunity identification, client engagement, solution development, proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, estimating, and project delivery teams to develop competitive and technically sound service solutions.
- Drive key account management initiatives to expand existing client relationships and increase recurring service revenue.
- Manage and maintain the regional sales pipeline, forecasts, customer relationship management (CRM) database, and business performance metrics.
- Support tender submissions, commercial proposals, presentations, and client negotiations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with marketing teams to strengthen market presence through industry events, conferences, networking activities, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across business units to maximise customer value and business growth.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of business development, sales, account management, or commercial experience within facility services, engineering services, technical operations, or construction-related industries.
- Strong industry network within data centres, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in securing new business opportunities and achieving sales growth targets.
- Experience managing complex tenders, commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and strategic client relationships.
- Good understanding of facilities management, operations & maintenance, engineering services, asset management, or EPC project environments.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and sales performance reporting tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work across regional teams and manage multiple business opportunities simultaneously.

- Working days: 5 days
- Salary: S$10,000 and AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
