Our team has over ten years of experience within the renewable energy field, including the areas of solar PV technology production, manufacturing, quality assessment and systems deployment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Business Development Manager - EPC Sales. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, preparing proposals, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives. The incumbent will collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, meet sales targets, and support the company's growth in the renewable energy sector, particularly in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the generation of inquiry and revenue from the sales of primarily technical consultancy & quality assurance services of the Sunkonnect to new and existing large and medium customers mainly through customer visits and / or communication. Responsible for a region / area, portfolio or a cluster of customers as defined in the sales plan.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Primary research to identify potential customers and generate leads in target industry segment by making cold reach outs, client meetings etc.

2. Meet or exceed revenue target.

3. Client management by developing client relationships and existing accounts including key account management.

4. Preparation of techno-commercial proposals, quotations, tender document preparation & bid submission.

5. Build long term trusting relationships with clients.

6. Frequent travelling.

Qualifications:

1. B. E/ B. Tech

2. Candidate with 6 to 8 years experience in sales, marketing and business development preferably from consulting / EPC background in Renewable energy sector.
