About the Role
We are looking for a result-oriented and confident Business Development professional to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across the CAT A enterprise segment in Pune and Mumbai regions.
The role will focus on promoting our enterprise-level technology products and solutions across Vendor Management, Quality Management, Time & Attendance, Fleet Management, GPS Tracking, and IoT-based business solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B/enterprise sales, lead generation, consultative selling, client meetings, proposal discussions, and closure of new business opportunities.
This is a growth-focused role for professionals who are comfortable working with a decent fixed pay structure plus an attractive performance-based incentive plan, where high performers can earn significantly more by achieving count-based and revenue-based targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and acquire new enterprise clients across Pune, Mumbai, and nearby industrial/business regions.
- Focus on CAT A companies across industries such as manufacturing, automotive, logistics, infrastructure, construction, engineering, supply chain, transportation, and other enterprise segments.
- Promote enterprise software and digital transformation solutions in the areas of:
- Vendor Management
- Quality Management
- Time & Attendance
- Fleet Management
- GPS Tracking
- IoT-based monitoring and automation
- Build a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, references, field visits, industry connects, events, and digital leads.
- Meet CXO-level, department-head, procurement, HR, operations, quality, admin, logistics, and IT decision makers to understand business requirements.
- Present product value propositions, conduct initial demos, coordinate detailed product demonstrations, and support pre-sales discussions.
- Work closely with internal product, pre-sales, technical, and management teams to prepare proposals, estimates, and solution fitment.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting to qualification, presentation, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly targets based on client acquisition count, qualified meetings, pipeline value, and revenue closure.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, follow-up status, and revenue forecasts.
- Track competitor activity, market trends, and enterprise buying patterns in the assigned region.
- Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business, referrals, and account expansion opportunities.
Required Candidate Profile
- 4 to 8 years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, software sales, SaaS sales, IT solution sales, ERP/CRM/product sales, automation sales, IoT sales, or fleet/HRMS/procurement solution sales.
- Strong exposure to selling to mid-size and large organizations.
- Good understanding of enterprise buying cycles, stakeholder mapping, proposal follow-ups, and negotiation.
- Ability to communicate with senior decision makers confidently.
- Should be target-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with field/client-facing sales.
- Strong lead generation, appointment setting, presentation, and closure skills.
- Good command over English, Hindi, and regional communication as applicable.
- Willingness to travel locally within Pune/Mumbai and nearby industrial areas for client meetings.
- Must be comfortable working with a structured fixed salary plus attractive incentive-based earning opportunity.
