Job Description: Business Development Manager - Edtech (Pune)
This role focuses on driving sales and partnerships for Edtech products in Mumbai, targeting schools, colleges, and institutions, with Marathi fluency essential for local outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities by visiting schools and colleges in Mumbai, conducting demos, and building relationships with principals and educators.
- Achieve sales targets through lead generation, client meetings, product pitches, and closing deals for Edtech solutions like online courses or learning platforms.
- Manage a small sales team, monitor performance, prepare proposals, and report on pipeline and revenue metrics using CRM tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) with 3-7 years in business development or sales, ideally in Edtech, education, or B2B tech.
- Fluency in Marathi and English (written/verbal); strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with Mumbai education market, field sales, and tools like MS Office/CRM; willingness for travel and target-driven work.
Languages Known
Excellent Proficiency in Marathi and English
