We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our marketing efforts at KnowledgeHut. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with a deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, and lead generation. As the Marketing Head, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness,
customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth within the assigned region as per the decided strategy & planning in alignment with organisational goals.
- Achieve assigned sales targets with consistency.
- Implement effective sales tactics and initiatives to maximise revenue potential.
2.Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in ed-tech.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleges to enhance revenue streams.
- Collaborate with the team to explore innovative approaches for business expansion.
3.Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing students.
- Address student concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively engage with students to identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
4.Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential areas for revenue growth and improvement.
5.Collaborative Approach & Regular Reporting:
- Cooperate and collaborate with cross-functional teams for better output.
- Adhere to a structured reporting framework of daily, weekly, and monthly regular reports to produce key metrics, milestones, and project updates with your regular reports.
- Open to feedback mechanisms to make continuous improvements and address any challenges faced by you.
Required Skill Sets:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide effective revenue-focused solutions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and brand management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that have driven business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Experience in the education, Ed-Tech or L&D industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Target Market and understanding of local dynamics is advantageous.
