Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site business development manager role based in Patna. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities with B2B clients across sectors such as hospitality, corporate offices, government institutions, malls, airports, and IT parks. Responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating and closing deals in line with revenue targets. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, gathering market and competitor insights, and collaborating closely with internal teams for smooth order execution and after-sales support. The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and represent Dolphy at local trade shows, industry events, and partner meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and convert B2B leads, including prospecting, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales processes in sectors such as hospitality, real estate, infrastructure, or facility management (experience in building products or automation is an advantage).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, including territory management and visit scheduling.
  • Analytical skills to interpret market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic reporting and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and customer support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
