Role Objective As the Business Development Manager, you will be the face of Tostem to the elite Architect and Interior Design (AID) community. Your primary goal is to ensure Tostem is the Brand of Choice at the drawing board stage. You will bridge the gap between design intent and technical execution, generating high-quality project leads that fuel our Project and Retail sales engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect Mapping: Identify and build deep-rooted relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 Architects, Interior Designers, and Facade Consultants in your assigned territory.
- Specification Winning: Present Tostem's technical USP (e.g., wind pressure resistance, water tightness, Japanese anodizing) to get our products specified in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) of luxury residential and commercial projects.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify upcoming projects at the Pre-Tender or Design stage through constant engagement with the influencer community.
- Technical Presentations: Conduct Lunch & Learn sessions, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) workshops, and product walkthroughs for architectural firms.
- Collaboration: Act as a strategic link between the Influencer, the Tostem Project/Retail sales teams, and our Channel Partners to ensure a seamless transition from Specification to Order.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on architectural trends, competitor specification tactics, and emerging real estate hubs in the region
