Job Description
About Creuto
Creuto Cloud Private Limited is a software development company building AI-powered products, mobile applications, custom software, and digital platforms for business growth and automation. We work with mid-scale businesses and funded startups (roughly 11–500 employees), and also take on startup MVP builds for early-stage founders.
The Role
We're hiring our first dedicated Business Development Manager. Sales at Creuto has been run solo by the founder — this role exists to take ownership of the pipeline end-to-end: finding leads, running outreach, booking calls, and closing. You'll be the primary driver of new business, with the founder staying involved on strategy and larger deals.
What You'll Do
- Own outbound lead generation — LinkedIn, cold outreach, referral follow-ups, and partner/WhatsApp-network channels
- Manage the full pipeline in Apollo.io: log every lead, move deals through stages, track win/loss reasons
- Run discovery calls, qualify prospects, and hand off clean requirements for proposal drafting
- Send and follow up on proposals; negotiate scope and pricing within approved bands
- Close deals in the 8–15L range for custom software/AI projects, and the 3L range for startup MVP builds
- Identify upsell/expansion opportunities on Creuto's existing client accounts
- Report weekly pipeline numbers (leads added, stage movement, wins/losses) to the founder
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years in business development or sales, specifically selling tech/IT/software services (not a transferable-skills-only candidate — this needs someone who already knows how tech deals get sold)
- A track record of hitting outbound targets and closing mid-sized B2B deals
- Comfortable owning a CRM/pipeline tool daily (we use Apollo.io)
- Strong written and spoken English; confident on discovery and negotiation calls
- Self-directed — this is a remote role with real ownership, not a lead-list-and-wait setup
- Existing network in the startup/SME tech-buyer space is a strong plus
