Job Overview

We're seeking an ambitious and results-orientedBusiness Development Managerto join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving business growth in the digital marketing space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients across various industries who need digital marketing services
  • Client Outreach: Conduct cold calls, emails, and networking to establish initial contact with prospects
  • Client Meetings: Visit potential clients to understand their business needs and present Scabbard Tech's solutions
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling, customised proposals that showcase our services and value proposition
  • Deal Closure: Negotiate terms, address client concerns, and successfully close business deals
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities
  • Sales Reporting: Track leads, meetings, proposals, and conversions; provide regular updates to management
Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (preferably in digital marketing, IT services, advertising, or related fields)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and ability to work independently

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
