Role Summary

Mind Maestro Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager (Corporate Training / L&D) to drive revenue growth by acquiring new corporate clients and expanding business with existing accounts. This is a consultative, solution-selling role where you will work closely with internal SMEs/trainers to craft proposals and win long-term training engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1) Corporate Sales & New Client Acquisition

  • Identify, qualify, and engage prospective corporate clients (HR, L&D, Talent, Business Heads).
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting discovery solutioning proposal negotiation closure.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outreach, referrals, networking, events, and partnerships.

2) Consultative Solution Selling (Training Programs)

  • Conduct needs analysis to understand capability gaps and business goals.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions (workshops, cohorts, blended learning, leadership journeys, assessments, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create customized proposals, timelines, commercials, and scope.

3) Account Management & Business Expansion

  • Develop long-term relationships with client stakeholders and become a trusted partner.
  • Identify opportunities for renewals, repeat programs, cross-sell/upsell across departments and locations.
  • Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams and support client satisfaction to drive repeat business.

4) Market Intelligence & Revenue Reporting

  • Track industry trends and competitor offerings to sharpen Mind Maestro's positioning.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasts, sales reports, and revenue projections.
  • Provide regular insights to leadership on pipeline status, win/loss reasons, and market feedback.

Education & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/HR/Communications/Psychology or related field (required)
  • MBA/PGDM (Marketing/Sales/HR/Strategy) (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B business development / corporate sales experience
  • Strong preference for experience in one or more of the following:
  • Corporate training / L&D solutions
  • HR consulting / talent solutions / assessment services
  • B2B EdTech / leadership development / professional services selling

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to meet revenue targets and close enterprise / mid-market deals
  • Strong stakeholder management (HR/L&D and business leaders)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal-writing skills
  • Negotiation and commercial closure capability
  • Structured pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (Zoho/Salesforce/HubSpot or similar) and MS Office/Google Workspace

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Existing network with HR/L&D leaders
  • Experience handling RFPs, large proposals, and multi-location program rollouts
  • Understanding of training delivery models, facilitation formats, and L&D buying cycles

KPIs / Success Measures

  • Monthly/Quarterly revenue achievement
  • Number of new corporate accounts acquired
  • Pipeline value, conversion ratio, and average deal size
  • Repeat business / renewals from existing clients
  • Client satisfaction and relationship depth
