We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead the growth of our corporate gifting solutions. The ideal candidate will be a B2B sales expert with a strong understanding of corporate relationship building, capable of identifying new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and establishing long-term partnerships with enterprise-level clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
Develop and execute a robust B2B sales strategy to target key industries and corporate segments for gifting, rewards, and loyalty programs.
Generate qualified leads through cold-calling, networking, industry events, social selling, and leveraging existing relationships.
Manage the entire sales pipeline, from initial prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing large-scale contracts.
Achieve and consistently exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
Identify and engage with senior decision-makers (e.g., HR, Admin, Procurement, Marketing, CXOs) to understand their specific gifting needs.
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and high retention rates.
Act as the primary point of contact for key corporate accounts, ensuring all interactions are professional and value-driven.
3. Solution Selling and Proposal Development
Conduct in-depth client needs assessments to propose customized and creative corporate gifting solutions (e.g., festive gifting, employee recognition, client appreciation, event giveaways).
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, pitches, and tailored proposals that articulate our value proposition.
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Design, Operations) to ensure the proposed solutions are viable, correctly priced, and meet client expectations.
4. Market Intelligence and Reporting
Conduct continuous market and competitor analysis to identify new trends, competitive movements, and potential growth opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client information, and sales forecasts using a CRM tool (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Provide regular and insightful reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and market feedback to the leadership team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B/Enterprise Sales, preferably within the corporate gifting, loyalty programs, promotional products, or related B2B service industries.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed challenging sales targets and manage complex sales cycles.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with senior management.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation and contract closing skills.
Technical: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred
Existing network or established relationships with corporate decision-makers (HR, Admin, Marketing).
Experience selling customized or design-driven solutions.
MBA is a plus.
