Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to handle the Mumbai region. This role is focused on new customer acquisition, partner development, and revenue growth across UBX Cloud services.
This is a field-driven role, not inside sales. The expectation is to meet customers, build relationships, and drive closures.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive new B2B customer acquisition for UBX Cloud services
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across enterprise and mid-market accounts
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Identify and close opportunities in cloud migration, backup, and DR solutions
- Work closely with presales and technical teams to drive closures
- Represent UBX Cloud in customer meetings, events, and partner engagements
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow existing accounts through cross-sell and up-sell
- Build long-term relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and key stakeholders
- Drive Veeam renewals, backup expansion, and DRaaS opportunities
Partner & Channel Development
- Engage with system integrators, MSPs, and channel partners
- Build a strong partner-driven pipeline
- Collaborate with OEMs and distributors for joint GTM initiatives
Market Intelligence & GTM
- Stay updated on competition (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Track market trends, pricing, and customer expectations
- Participate in campaigns, events, and demand generation activitie
Sales Execution & Reporting
- Maintain pipeline hygiene in CRM
- Provide regular forecasts and updates
- Ensure timely follow-ups, proposals, and closures
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in B2B IT Sales (Cloud / Backup / DR solutions)
- Strong understanding of:
- Backup & Data Protection (Veeam preferred)
- Public Cloud (AWS / Azure basics)
- Private Cloud / Virtualization
- DRaaS / Business Continuity
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Good understanding of Mumbai market and customer landscape
Good to Have:
- Existing enterprise or partner relationships
- Exposure to Veeam VCSP / Cloud Connect
- Understanding of data center and infrastructure services
