Work Mode: Work from Office | 5 Days Working | Fixed Saturday & Sunday Off

Role & Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be acquiring new clients and building strong business relationships for ProHR Strategies HR service offerings. You will engage with Founders, HR Leaders, CXOs, and decision-makers to understand their workforce challenges and recommend suitable recruitment, consulting, and training solutions.

This is a consultative business development role that requires a combination of relationship-building, strategic outreach, communication skills, and commercial understanding. You will actively identify business opportunities through LinkedIn networking, cold outreach, referrals, partnerships, and market research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and nurturing new business opportunities through outbound outreach and networking
  • Building relationships with HR leaders, founders, and business decision-makers
  • Conducting discovery meetings and understanding client hiring or HR challenges
  • Presenting Permanent Hiring, HR Consulting, and Corporate Training solutions
  • Preparing proposals, following up with prospects, and converting conversations into business opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal recruitment and consulting teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
  • Developing strategic partnerships with ecosystem partners, consultants, and business networks
  • Researching growing companies, funded startups, and organizations with active hiring requirements
  • Maintaining regular pipeline reviews, CRM updates, and activity tracking

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating opportunities from conversations and is comfortable taking ownership of business growth initiatives.

Who You Are

You are a confident communicator who enjoys interacting with business leaders, building professional relationships, and identifying growth opportunities. You are proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven B2B environment.

You likely bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B Business Development, Client Acquisition, or Corporate Sales
  • Prior experience in Recruitment, Staffing, HR Consulting, Corporate Training, or HR Services industry is highly preferred
  • Candidates from other industries with strong B2B sales experience are also welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience in lead generation, client meetings, proposal discussions, and relationship management
  • Comfort using LinkedIn, email outreach, CRM tools, and business networking platforms
  • A self-driven approach with strong ownership and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work from office in Rajarhat, Chinar Park, Kolkata

MBA or equivalent business qualification will be an added advantage.
