Role Overview :
We are looking for a Business Development Manager Client Acquisition who will be responsible for handling qualified business opportunities, leading client discussions, and driving deals to closure.
This role is focused on new client acquisition and requires strong ownership, decision-making ability, and confidence in managing end-to-end sales conversations.
This is not a lead-generation role.
This role works with qualified leads and owns the conversion and closure process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Attend and manage qualified business meetings assigned by the sales team
- Understand client requirements, priorities, and business context
- Evaluate opportunities and decide the right course of action (proceed, hold, or drop)
- Lead solution-level and commercial discussions with prospective clients
- Handle proposal discussions, pricing conversations, and negotiations
- Drive deals toward closure within defined timelines
- Ensure clear expectation-setting before deal finalization
- Coordinate internal handover after deal closure
- Maintain accurate updates on deal status and pipeline progress
Required Skills (Mandatory) :
- Proven experience in B2B client acquisition and deal closures
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to confidently interact with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong understanding of consultative / solution-based selling
- Sound judgment and ownership of decisions
- Comfort with negotiations and objection handling
- Ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously
Preferred (Not Mandatory) :
- Experience in service-based or solution-oriented sales environments
- Exposure to international or global clients
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
- Background in IT services, consulting, or B2B solutions
