Position: Business Development Manager – Project Sales

Location: Chennai

Experience: 10 – 20 years

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Project Sales to drive growth through strategic relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, and project stakeholders. The role demands strong exposure to project-based sales, from specification to execution, within the building materials / interior solutions / construction-related industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive project sales business in Indore and surrounding regions
  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, PMC consultants, builders, and developers
  • Ensure product specification and approval in upcoming and ongoing projects
  • Track projects from design stage to order closure and execution
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Conduct regular market mapping and identify new project opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums

Job Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience in project sales
  • Mandatory experience handling architects & interior designers
  • Strong exposure to specification-based selling
  • Proven track record of achieving project sales targets
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of the Indore / MP project market
