Rankesire Education is a premier coaching institute founded by IIT/NIT alumni, dedicated to preparing students for JEE, NEET, MHT-CET, and CUET. With a strong foothold in Mumbai (Kandivali West) and expanding operations in Pune, we are committed to providing quality education and achieving top-tier results. We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion and revenue growth strategies.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager (BDM) role based in Mumbai. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, leading student acquisition efforts, strategizing for sales growth, forging strategic alliances with schools and colleges and meeting revenue targets. The role will also involve planning and executing business strategies, collaborating with internal departments, and delivering presentations to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Institutional Tie-ups: Identify, visit, and crack deals with schools, colleges, and other coaching centers to establish long-term tie-ups and collaborative programs.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers (Principals, Trustees, Directors) in partner institutions to ensure continued association.
  • Seminar & Marketing: Conduct engaging seminars and workshops in schools and colleges to promote Rankesire's courses and value proposition to students and parents.
  • Admissions & Counselling: Step in to handle high-stakes parent and student counselling sessions to ensure admission closure when required.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute data-driven strategies to grow revenue, enter new markets, and expand the business vertical.
  • Target Achievement: Take ownership of revenue targets and work diligently in a high-pressure environment to meet or exceed them.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, and Relationship Management
  • Strong Negotiation, Communication, and Interpersonal skills
  • Strategic Planning, Market Research, and Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Business Analytics
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain client relationships
  • Relevant experience in the education sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
