Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Managers (BDM) to drive MSME lending (WCDL) growth in the Hyderabad industrial cluster. The role involves acquiring eligible manufacturing MSMEs, managing OEM/cluster relationships, originating high-quality credit transactions and ensuring smooth program execution with our FI partners.
This is a field-intensive, relationship-driven role requiring deep understanding of MSME manufacturing, credit behaviour and cluster ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. MSME Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and onboard micro and small ancillary manufacturers in clusters such as BHEL Ancillary, Patancheru, Jeedimetla, Cherlapally and Balanagar.
- Generate leads through industrial associations, OEM vendor clusters, raw material suppliers, fabrication units and machinists.
- Pitch QistonPe's WCDL/raw material financing program and convert qualified MSMEs.
2. Credit Origination & Documentation
- Collect and validate borrower documents (KYC, financials, GST, bank statements).
- Understand customer working capital cycles, PO-based requirements and limit sizing.
- Work closely with QistonPe credit team for assessment and sanction.
4. Transaction Execution & Portfolio Quality
- Coordinate drawdowns against PO/PI, ensure smooth disbursals and timely repayments.
- Monitor customer performance, overdue alerts and material utilisation as per program norms.
- Work with operations for onboarding, invoice checks, e-way bill reconciliation, etc.
5. Market Intelligence, Cluster Engagement & Reporting
- Engage with local industrial associations and cluster bodies for outreach programs and events.
- Track cluster dynamics viz. manufacturing segments, raw material requirements, PO cycles, seasonality.
- Provide weekly funnel updates, portfolio insights, competitive mapping and customer feedback.
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 3-6 years of experience in MSME lending / BL / supply chain finance / working capital loans.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing MSMEs, especially fabrication, machining, castings, electricals etc.
- Field-intensive experience in clusters around Hyderabad (Jeedimetla, Patancheru, Cherlapally, Balanagar).
- Ability to read basic financial statements, GST data and bank statements.
- Proficiency in relationship management and credit-first sales.
Good-to-Have
- Experience working with NBFCs, SFBs or fintech lenders.
- Exposure to PO based financing / invoice financing / raw material financing.
- Existing relationships with MSMEs, OEM vendor teams or industrial associations.

Compensation
- Competitive salary + performance-linked incentives based on onboarding and disbursals.
- Base Salary: 7 L 12 L per year
- Target variable: 3 L 6 L per year
- Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): 10 L 18 L
